Pit bull blog: Return to my dog parkHi, friends! Daisy here!
It's about 20 minute walk there so I got some exercise before I got there. I was so happy and relieved to see a few familiar faces running around!
Shaggy the Golden Doodle mix, Nemo the Shih Tzu, Misha the huskey mix and my two pit bull buddies Venus and Mars were there and they all cameby to say HI!!
I felt silly that I had been so worried they forgot about me!! I had to stay on the leash, though. Once I get going, I was surely going to run with my buddies. It was a gorgeous afternoon: the park's trees had all their leaves full, light breeze, sunshine, ahhhh...! There were a few new faces as well. I saw a Great Dane for the first time in my life! Wow! She was so tall that she made me look like a dwarf!
I learned to drink water straight from the plastic bottle from her. I used to be afraid of water squirting out but I saw the Great Dane do it like it was nothing! So, I tried and it WAS NOTHING!
We stayed there for about an hour and I was a very good girl the whole time. I got anxious at times, but I controlled myself pretty well considering the environment! It was a great day for me: A long walk, visit to the park, some people food, nap, belly rub...You get the picture, right? It was a perfect day in a dog's life! Maybe we can have a Barbecue at the dog park next time to make it even more pawsome?! Till next pit bull blog, stay cool my friends! Toodles~!
