Dog Friendly Park: Ohio St Park Update

After 2 months absence from Ohio Place Park, Daisy went back to see all her friends, both human and doggy.
While she was busy sniffing her friends, we discovered a thing or two to update.

The Good: Has gotten even better! As we expected, thanks to spring/summer weather, all the trees are in fullswing. Lots of green and shade! The walls are covered with ivy and more chairs for the owners. All the owners are friendly!They will have your dog run with theirs in pursuit of tennis balls, share treats, etc.

The Bad: We were pleasantly surprised to find "The Bad" is no more!
Check out these photos! Fence! all the way down to the gate on Orleans side gate! Owners don't have to worry about their curious pups jumping over to the highway! Yay!
Citypits would like to thank all who were involved in raising the issue to the park district.
Still no water fountain but there are a few "community" metal water bowls for the owners who bring water.

The Ugly: It's still not the cleanest dog park we've seen. But it's cleaner compared to how it was 2 months ago. It seems that the owners are more mindful of picking up after their dogs. There are pooper scoopers by the Kingsbury gate in case the park runs out of disposal bags.

We are thankful and happy for the improvement made at this location.
