Pit Bull Rescue Story : Rocco

Hey, everyone~!
Finally, we have a brindle to showcase! This pit bull rescue story's star Rocco, is a one-year-old, gorgeous brindle from Mississippi. (say that 10 times, BOL!)
Rocco was left at a shelter when Breed Specific Legislation was enacted. Well, let's hear about it from Rocco, shall we?

**Hi, I'm Rocco!**

Hello, pretty Daisy!

My mama had a little pittie who died of parvo last Fall, and she was so upset. She was looking on the Iam's Home for the Holidays pet adoption program and found me in Tennessee, and she says it was my big tongue sticking out that made her know she needed me. I have a wonderful home here and I never want to leave. I'm a bit spoiled, but that's ok, too.

**when nobody's around...**

Mama and her son (my favorite hooman) drove to TN from MS just to get me, after just seeing my picture!
I was real excited when they walked up to me, and I licked them and wagged my whole booty to show them I wanted to go home with them. My booty shake makes everybody fall in love with me!
Me and my boy hooman slept cuddled up together in the front car seat all the way home. Mama doesn't know where I came from. The lady at the rescue shelter said Jackson, TN had recently enacted a breed specific legislation, and unfortunately, that was leaving lots of pibbles without homes. Can you imagine? One day you were all together as a family and the next day, you had to split up?? I was one of the lucky ones who found a wonderful home. I don't even want to think about what happened to all the others like me...

**I'm not chewing yet!!**

Well, My other bother is a German Shepherd boy, and he's pretty laid back and didn't mind me being around. I didn't have any health problems, and they had neutered me and given me vaccinations before mama picked me up. I came in and took over the house. Now the hoomans wouldn't know what to do without me!

**My doggy bro, Scotty**

I go to doggy school these days and am doing very well in learning the basics which makes mama very proud! When I'm not at school, I love to roll around on the ground and play, shake my booty for my hoomans, oh, and I love to get under the cover with mama at night!
What I love about my life? EVERYTHNG!!
I have a wonderful family who love me and spoil me!
